It's now the closing days of 2021 and words like "unprecedented" "isolation" and "fear"

along with many others have all been heard numerous times these past months of this year.

I was diagnosed with Lymphoma this year and have experienced through the process of surgery and chemo-thereapy

a vast assortment of feelings that have brought those three words mentioned above

into what I'd now describe as " In a valley of shadows".

Hard to make out the real from the unreal , the truth from the uncertainty.

What I can know for certain is that if you read this and you are going through a particularly hard place in a particularly hard time then

you are not alone.

We all feel things differently I guess and there's nobody else in our skin to say " yes I get it! , that is very big".

Then again as I've walked this year I've been constantly reminded there is someone else in here and in you who does get it and us

and has always been here. This is the Spirit of God who holds everything living. I've no idea how , I just know this is true.

Below is my musical journal in part from this year .

It's my hope at this time of year that this journal of thought and interaction

may be meaningful to you or someone you know and an encouragement to keep on or start giving each day's worries into God's care.

He is our creator and He doesn't leave us here alone. He is here with us now in and through everything to share as

no-one else really can to help and heal.

Here with us , alive in us.
